Join us for an inside look at NWI Aerostructures, a focused factory for long and large aluminum machining, forming, processing, and structural assembly up to 100 feet in length, operating in a 1,000,000 sq. ft facility in Nashville, TN.

NWI Aerostructures recently added a new Bavius Technologie AeroCell 700/200 horizontal high-speed 5-axis CNC machine with a 7-meter by 2-meter work envelope and a 30,000 RPM spindle. This investment is a key milestone of NWI’s Project 2035 initiative to modernize and expand the Nashville site into a fully integrated, next-generation aerospace manufacturing facility, with focus on advanced manufacturing technologies, improved efficiency, and expanded capabilities to support the evolving needs of aerospace customers. More information about NWI Nashville: at https://www.nwiaero.com.

Due to the large organizational footprint, the 3 pm tour will be provided in two groups of 15.

For the tour, everyone must wear closed-toe shoes. NWI will provide safety glasses and earplugs, however, you are welcome to bring your own if preferred.

We have an all-star lineup of guest speakers:

  • Jacob Benton, Manufacturing Engineer and TCAT Hartsville graduate, will join me in presenting on our company history and special processes.
  • Harold Brewer, Manufacturing Engineer and nearly 40-year staff member, who has seen just about everything and is an invaluable source of knowledge and experience.
  • Tyler Belew, Director of Program Management.

Dinner to follow at nearby Longhorn Steakhouse.
