SME 43 congratulates Jackson & Isaiah with Portland East Vex Robotics team 99136H and Vex IQ coach Dale Sadler!

Panther Tech, a Tennessee STEM school, enjoyed another outstanding year with the help of a $1,000 donation in support of the 2022 Vex IQ robotics competition. As one of 5,000 Vex IQ middle school teams competing, team 99136H qualified for the Vex Robotics World Championship event in Dallas, TX by winning second place at the Vex State Competition. The team also won the Build Award which recognizes their robot’s superb design, which helped qualify them for championship as well.

Jackson & Isaiah also won an impressive sportsmanship award, voted on by other teams in the tournament. Nine teams (23 students) participated in several events and Portland East won eight trophies in the regular season.
